FREE 2h class: Our Trees in a Changing Climate
2-hour class. Dr. Colin Laroque from USask will be exploring the carbon sequestration of trees in our environment where we work, live and play. How do they contribute to mitigation in our city and what can homeowners and city planners do through adaptation strategies to maximize our efforts? What could be the financial benefits of having trees for homeowners in a changing climate? There is so much to cover but Dr. Laroque’s experience with climate research and trees across Canada will make this a very informative presentation. This class is free but you must register to participate. This 2 hour class is sponsored by the City of Saskatoon and our Healthy Yards partners. It is free, but you must register to save your spot.
