MCC’s Transformation Tuesdays:Treaty Simulation
Treaties are intended to be legally-binding agreements between sovereign nations, an official agreement between parties. Treaty-making was historically used among First Nations peoples for purposes like inter-tribal alliances, peace, friendship, and safe passage. Participants will be taken through a simulation that demonstrates how much their lives are changing due to the arrival of Country X in their community.
All are invited to the MCC Centre in Saskatoon (600 45th Street West) on Tuesday, March 25 from 7-9 pm. Registration is free and refreshments and snacks will be provided. To register, please visit this link. You may also contact erikathogersen@mccsk.ca or heatherpeters@mccsk.ca.
